Gerald Rudolph Ford, Jr. (14 de julio de 1913 - 26 de diciembre de 2006), fue el trigésimo octavo presidente de los Estados Unidos, perteneciendo al Partido Republicano.Nació en Omaha con el nombre de Leslie Lynch King. Tras el divorcio de sus padres y el nuevo matrimonio de su madre, recibió el nombre del padrastro, Gerald Rudolph Ford y se fue a vivir a Míchigan. Estudió Derecho en las universidades de Michigan y de Yale, donde fue una estrella del fútbol universitario. Después sirvió en la Marina durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. En el 2006, al cumplir los 93 años, se transformó en el ex-presidente estadounidense más longevo de la historia hasta la fecha.Contenido
